It has taken me a long time to realize how accurate these laws are. The reason is that life is so large that it contains contradictions. Each philosopher considers one aspect of life and ignores its contradictions. Another does just the opposite. They both can logically prove their case, but their limited view inevitably is wrong for the big picture.
The First Law of Philosophy: For every philosopher, there exists an equal and opposite philosopher.
