I like the fact that people go off on tangents this way you are able to learn something new. Knowledge is power. In reality I'd just eat the fish and it would be delicious.
P.S. My hair is Dark Brown or Black but my goat-tee has a redish tint... go figure

Dude, its a freaking JOKE! You don't have to have a freaking argument about asphyxiation and drowning and crap. Who freaking cares? All this retarded talk takes all the freaking humor out of the freaking joke.
P.S. My hair is technically called "Dirty Blonde"
yeah...

Okay, I am a killjoy. big deal.
Drowning is death by filling the lungs with water. Asphyxiation is death by preventing oxygen from entering the body. Ergo, filling a room with carbon dioxide that displaces all the oxygen, filling a room with carbon monoxide that bonds with the hemoglobin before oxygen can (toxic gas asphyxiation), restricting the air passage externally (suffocation) or internally (choking), filling the lungs (or surrounding the gills) with non-oxygen bearing liquid (drowning) are all forms of asphyxiation.
Since fish has no lungs, drowning seems impossible but there is such a thing as oxygen-depleted water. That is what happens during a 'red tide'. The red algae consumes so much oxygen from the water that other sea creatures who depend on oxygen-rich water effectively "drowns".
Also note that just because your lungs are filled with a liquid, it does not mean that you are drowning. There are oxygen rich liquids that can be poured into the lungs and let you 'breathe".
Now that I have robbed these posts from all hints of humor,... How do you tell when a blonde has stuffed her bra with tissue? You can see the oblong shape of the box under her sweater.
Hah, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha!
I have brought balance to the force.
P.S., my hair is black & brown and used to have blonde.

WHERE DID THE SHARK COME FROM!!!!

Tian indeed has a point, holding its gills closed would be suffocating it, the only way to technically drown a fish is to submerse it in a fluid that does not contain oxygen, i believe DOT 4 brake fluid would do the trick, and again with sharks/stingrays, you hold them still you suffocate them and they die of asphixia, they also eat you. But i agree with the blonds, its just a joke
(to the blonde - a shark is a fish)
P.S. Im naturally brown and blonde so best of both worlds for me :P

No, if she held the gills closed, she'd be suffocating it, and if she held the shark back, she be dead.
